Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Swap.org. By accessing or using our website you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use this site.
1. Who we are
Swap.org is a crypto rate aggregator. We display quotes from third-party on-ramp and off-ramp providers (“Partners”) and redirect you to their platforms to complete transactions. We do not hold, custody, transfer, or exchange cryptocurrency ourselves.
2. Eligibility
By using this site you represent that you:
- are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction);
- are not located in, a citizen of, or resident of any country subject to comprehensive economic sanctions (including but not limited to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions);
- are not listed on any sanctions list maintained by the UN, US, EU, or UK governments; and
- have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or any entity you represent.
3. Nature of the service
Swap.org is a comparison tool only. We aggregate publicly available and API-provided rate information from Partners. When you select a quote, you are redirected to the relevant Partner’s website or app.
All actual buy, sell, and swap transactions are performed exclusively by Partners. The terms, fees, KYC requirements, and availability of any Partner are governed solely by that Partner’s own terms of service and privacy policy.
Quoted rates are indicative and may change between the time we display them and the time you complete a transaction with a Partner. We make no guarantee that any rate shown will be available when you reach the Partner’s platform.
4. No financial advice
Nothing on Swap.org constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile. The value of digital assets can go up or down significantly in a short period and you may lose money. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any transaction is appropriate for you given your financial situation and risk tolerance.
5. Third-party partners
Swap.org has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for, the content, services, fees, security, or conduct of any Partner. Links to Partner platforms are provided for your convenience only. Your interactions with Partners, including any purchases, are solely between you and that Partner.
Partners are independent businesses. We are not agents, brokers, or representatives of any Partner and receive no commission from Partners for transactions you complete.
6. Accuracy of information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that rate data is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any information on this site. Errors in rates, fees, or availability may occur, and you should always verify information directly with the relevant Partner before transacting.
7. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulation;
- scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from Swap.org without our prior written consent;
- attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the security or integrity of the site or its underlying infrastructure; or
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity.
8. Intellectual property
All content on Swap.org — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Swap.org and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swap.org and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or any Partner platform — including but not limited to loss of funds, loss of data, or loss of profits — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the site shall not exceed €100.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Swap.org and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
